Klondike

TV: I'm not really sure whether this was ever going to run to multiple seasons, but the short-form definitely hurts its dramatic potential. Klondike desperately wants to be like Deadwood with its grim, arc-based storytelling, and at times it does a pretty good job of it, but overall the brisk pacing and dodgy narration works against it being taken too seriously. Still, watchable enough, especially if you skip past every scene Tim Roth appears in (seriously, he is absolutely terrible in this).
