Not the biggest Rogan fan but it's nice to see him getting as sick of SJWs as I am. Anyone who is actually "triggered" by words, needs to be kicked out of the West...sorry, my straight white male patriarchal privilege is showing.

Like with basically anything Rogan ever does in the comedy world, if you can get past the endless praise of pot and his alpha-male persona it's pretty enjoyable. I definitely enjoyed this more than his other comedy specials I've seen.

As someone once commented on a JRE video "Joe Rogan is the Brendan Schaub of stand-up comedy, but the Michael Jackson of podcasting". As for Triggered, the name suggests commentary on snowflake culture, but he spends more time talking about getting high off edibles and talking to dolphins. When he does approach topics like transsexuality, he doesn't have the deftness or the hilarious insight like Dave Chappelle does -- he just says what he thinks is strange, and says it loudly. Hilarious.

Disclaimer: I don't have a ton of familiarity with Rogan since his News Radio days. The individual components all seem mediocre (joke originality, wit, insight, performance, etc.), but somehow it all comes together to be much more than the sum of its parts. He's doing something that makes this really good that I'm not fully appreciating, but at the end of the day, it is quite good.

Triggered takes the interesting step of never cutting to the audience. I had great fun with this one.

Solid performance by Rogan. His jokes don't always hit, but he's great at keeping your attention and his social/political commentary is enjoyable even if it's one-dimensional.

I like Joe Rogan but this is the first time I've watched one of his full stand-up performances - and it won't be the last. Consistently amusing throughout, he makes great points on a number of subjects, the only real gripe being a noticeable lack of true belly-laughs.

I know I've seen an earlier Rogan special, I'm just not sure which one. As for Triggered, I watched it alone and had that "that's funny" thought many times. But I gotta tell you, I didn't laugh once. I remember liking Rogan's stand up more.
