Iliza Shlesinger: Hot Forever

I learned a lot about bras thanks to this special.

She is funny and her vibrant and picturesque approach to comedy is great, but her material is hackneyed and boring.

I can relate to many things said and even though Iliza's character is purposefully grating, she's still fun and entertaining without crossing the Schumer line. But she's not a comedian I look forward to see new sets from.

Men can't relate

Am I crazy, or is this a spot-on and timely dissection of many topics, including the post-Trump era we are living in? Eloquent and empathetic when needed, but also savage when called upon. It's an important and smart gathering of ideas, with laughs aplenty. I will revisit this one someday, but in the meantime I apparently have a bunch more Shlesinger specials to watch.
