Skip the first three. Or at least begin with 4-6. Those are 90 points!

I loved this. Every episode is a gem. Really funny and weird stuff. Wilson is a great filmmaker. And my god, his landlord is such a sweetheart

Unexpectedly good surprise. So many lines are blurred with these mini-documentaries that you are often left wondering what you've even watched. This whole thing is genuinely beautiful and moving art, avant-garde hyperrealism or whatever you'd call it. Watch it.

Quirky, charming (all right, yes--these two words are almost synonymous for me), fascinating look at...well, life. WIlson's powers of observation of ability to synthesize what he sees are marvelous. This definitely has its own rhythm, so allow an episode or two to tune into but, but its rewards are many.

Season 1. Good-natured, lightly misanthropic observational humor that no doubt captures some real moments while also gently prodding the viewer to question the honesty of what they are being shown.

Garbage. Films random people in his life or on the street and gives a "deep thoughts" voiceover to it all. It's like the documentary series that Wes Anderson would make.

So, here's a show that makes the most out of nothing. A fairly prescient mix of cable television standards and internet-era on-the-street material, John Wilson takes an already fascinating take with one aspect of modern life and then expands on it to even more fascinating, quirky, and hilarious areas. This show is simply about opening up a random door or walking up to a neighbour and seeing what incredible things happen -- a lockdown season 2 would be interesting to watch.

Takes a little while to understand why this is on HBO instead of just randomly appearing on YouTube but it definitely earns its place over time. Each episode gets better and better. And forget all the mini-reviews on this website, the best review for Parasite is in episode 4 of this show.

Great premise, decently fleshed out. Takes unexpected and amusing tangents but doesn't always connect with social dissonance as well as Nathan for You did.
