Only appealing to Pratchett fans, I wish they made it more of an adult film, instead of a kiddy one. The funny (adult) jokes from the book were missing, a shame. But I can't wait for other Discworld adaptations.

While it has it's problems with actors, I'm a sucker for pratchett.

Its a really good go at doing a Discworld novel, but it just shows how far off a film based on one of the books is. I imagine this was quite confusing to a non-fan. Hopefully Sky will give more millions to the people behind this to make Mort or Colour of Magic.

Very deep and profound research was done on the discworld universe (No wonder, Pratchett's one of the screenwriters) for a very profound story. You won't forget Mr. Teatime, that's Te a ti me.

The nice: I'm still in love with Susan, the musings on belief and humanity are insightful, and most importantly DEATH as a senior citizen himbo is a genuine delight. The naughty: I'm no longer in love with Teatime (not his fault but the fault of >), the writing and direction are often poor, and most importantly the pacing is atrocious.

A Christmas Discworld tale. Somewhat toned down for a younger audience but still better than The Colour of Magic.

You've got to be a die hard Pratchett fan to seek this one out. I liked Warren as Teatime, but this is one of the lesser movies that could be made out of something Pratchett penned.

This film skirts the fine line of enjoyable and banal. It's dry in parts, the best jokes from Pratchett never seem to make it... and yet it's still one of Pratchett's best books brought to life. Most of the grade comes from the book material itself... not this rendition.

A good first attempt at bringing a classic Pratchett novel to the silver screen, marred somewhat by trying to squeeze so much content into such a short package.

I'm surprised seeing that they were able knit a good movie out of unadaptable Pratchett universe. Far better than Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy and quite good for a tv production. It is enjoyable as a standalone since they used its quite lenght to plunge enough information.
