An odd show, it was more of a slice of life show than it was a comedy. A lot of episodes in the series could be pretty damn weak, but at the same time, it also had some fantastic episodes such as the flood episode and the episodes that explore Helga's character. While the characters can have silly attributes, I felt that a lot of them were endearing or at the least memorable. I also think that everyone was really jealous of Arnold's really awesome room.

It was hard to get into the show but when I got into it all the episodes improved. It is a great series, that has plenty of touching moments, nice characters, good animation, music that is in touch with the city setting and a great finale. My favourite episodes are Arnold's Christmas, Arnold's Halloween, Summer Love, The Journal, Arnold's Valentine and more. It turns out as one of Nickelodeon's best shows.

I liked this as a kid, but on rewatch, I'm horrified. It's amazing what we put up with before the age of Internet video.

Fun children's animation. Had a little dash of the unusual but it.

For the most part it's a solid, middle of the road Nick cartoon, although the occasionally bizarre pieces of humor and some surprisingly mature material make it more interesting than many of its compatriots. The score here is being greatly inflated by the phenomenal Christmas episode and the episodes that deal with urban legends and the supernatural, all of which are fantastically executed and particularly memorable. I still watch the Headless Cabbie around Halloween every year.

My recollection of this is that I found it boring, as well as odd in a vague, mildly unnerving way. Also, I watched many, many episodes.
