Just adorable, wholesome and heartfelt. Really great characters and it has this kind of simplicity and most of the characters are well-intentioned and they're learning and the casting is perfect. These kids are stars! This is a cozy (with pitch perfect writing and characterization) watch that is just full of hope.

Seasons 1 & 2: Heartstopper portrays a medley of queer identities and relationships in a way that acknowledges and explores challenges but is ultimately about positive outcomes and happy endings. The type of presentation that has been sorely needed but usually lacking.

Thoughtful, adorable show that avoids a lot of the bs from most teen dramas which made it very engaging

Kind of a cute story...about friendship. Neither Charlie or Nick have any actual good friends, so when they find each other they assume it's something more. Society is quick to label, particularly with the gay stuff. Good friends tend to have a desire for some physical intimacy. It's a basic need. Some people just need it more than others. It's not always sexual. The show is great at showing the chemistry between two good friends, until it becomes sexual, and then it's just awkward. s2:subpar

it’s cute, but I don’t really like it that much. i feel like it’s made for more soft people, i guess it’s just not really my type of movie? i don’t regret watching it, but i wouldn’t watch it again.

How many LGTBQ do we have?! Seems like half of them are playing in Netflix shows

Very good, cute. Somewhat realistic, perhaps somewhat unrealistic. A lot of positive messages in the show, which is good.

Sweet and anodyne, Heartstopper reminds me of those small heart-shaped candies with earnest messages on them—too benign to really make an impact.

Heartstopper is a very sweet and emotional story. I think we need to watch more of these kind of stories because the hate that gays are exposed to is so sad and irritating. Casting, Joe Locke as Charlie was wonderful and Kit Connor as Nick was great too. However I think the best part of Heartstopper marathon for me was seeing lovely Olivia Colman as a well-looking and sweet mother! God, I love this woman so much…
