Green Eyes

Locates a poignant (if inadequate) metaphor for post-Vietnam America in its story of a disabled veteran who, unable to make a life for himself after the war, returns to Vietnam in search of the child he fathered and abandoned. A little clumsy in the telling but undeniably powerful and Winfield is great as usual. "If you want a child, just reach out. They're all yours. All of them."
