I was enjoying this until it turned into a Serious Drama About Serious Issues That You Should Take Seriously. Apart from the nice montage at the end, pretty much everything after the words "multiple sclerosis" come up on screen is a chore to watch. Also Juliet Aubrey is a total charisma vacuum, though I'm sure anybody would have trouble with that nothing character.

robert carlyle is amazing. other than that this movie is most appealing to those who watch the wife beating movies on WE (not me), but at least it's damned powerful.
