Uneven material, but the second half of the show is hilarious

Carlin's voice and madness continue to shine, and continue to get sharper. His disdain for humanity and hypocrisy ramps up, special after special.

Old hippy boomer yells at cloud. The first third of this is disgusting, as he smugly picks low hanging fruit with his toes. The rest of the special has a couple of amusing lines, but most of it is "god-damn [culturally relevant fashion], fuck you and fuck off" wow, hilarious, drunk grandpa. Carlin is the second worst thing about this, as the applause-heavy audience that he usually attracts are most very probably to be avoided in real life.

I remember watching some of the Carlin shows back when I was in my early 20's, and it didn't leave much impression on me. Now a decade later I feel like I found somebody who can express my opinion on many things in a way I never could. Next time somebody starts arguing about why I don't vote I will just show a clip from this show.

A few good moments at the end, but most of the time, especially in the first half, it's a lot of gratuitous bullshit.

I saw Louie CK talking at a George Carlin memorial. He referred to the opening of this when the crowd is cheering and George shuts them up as quick as possible to say, "Ever notice the people at anti-abortion rallies are people you wouldn't want to fuck in the first place." It was a surprisingly touching moment.

George Carlin is one angry man. Fortunately, he's also really funny.
