Chirico arrives at Galeade and recuperates on frontline base M7, where he meets AT pilots Garry Godan, Nol Berkhoff, and Glenborash Droka Zaki. He avoids Zaki's attempts to kill him. All four men are organized into one squad under Berkhoff's command - even as a mysterious sniper takes potshots at Chirico and Godan. The squad is transferred to base X2.
