Morris encountering dozens of fascinating personalities. Some of them you wish could have been a feature-length project, others you kind of want to wash yourself off from after, and a few that didn't do much for me. As a whole, extremely satisfying, and perhaps worth a higher score.

I had this whole review about how it's nuts that with all the true crime crud no one's made a movie about true crime author Sondra "Serenaded in Court By the Killer She Loved" London (look her up) but then I watched the ep with former Kaczynski confidante Gary Greenberg, who had a weird feud with Michael Mello, whose Kaczynski book I just heartily endorsed in another mini-review, and who does not come off well at all in Greenberg's account, but then we don't really hear much. Anyway great show

Saw this series some time ago, and since then I read some more about the person I found the most interesting of the bunch - the bouncer with no diploma and Highest IQ ever. The problem I find with Morris documentaries is that they seem so much more interesting as a books.

Numerous excellent episodes. The most hilarious was the episode about Rick Rosner. The Grandin, Fitch, Harris and Langan episodes were all also very memorable.

Varying in quality, naturally, but at it's worst it can still be described as interesting.

So far, it's everything you'd hope for from Mr. Morris.

The quality of this series varies wildly, depending on the episode's subject. Some were extremely captivating (airline pilot, woman who dates serial killers, guy obsessed with murder) and others were pretty dull (mob lawyer, the spy) or featured people that I detested and didn't want to spend any time with (the web cam guy). But still, I love the docs...and when it's good, I really enjoyed it.

I'm not sure how Errol Morris found these characters to interview, but their stories are pretty fascinating. It was a little hard at times watching one after another because each interview is pretty long, but spread out, there's some really interesting stuff here. A lot of the episodes focus on people who have really serious and odd obsessions, which are great, but I think my favorite was the one about the pilot who survived a plane crash. Each one definitely gives you something to think about.
