Feel Like Going Home

Definitely worthwhile if you're a blues-fan but not sure if it'll hold much interest for other viewers, including Scorsese lovers.

A great documentary although not necessarily great cinema. Scorsese seems uncharacteristically humbled by the subject matter which, as a blues-fan, I liked. Inevitably feels a bit rambling since the subject is so broad but it works well as a start to the series.

It is an interesting journey in the history of Blues and it is full of amazing characters. In the Mali part they kinda lost control of the documentary in my opinion; but overall it is a valiant and enjoyable musical documentary effort.
