Falsely Accused

Well crafted telemovie is a cut above the usual 'movie of the week' thanks to excellent performances from a well-chosen cast; Hartman and Meloni are terrific as the parents, and supporting bits from Leachman and Stiers are equally fine. Can never quite escape the tropes of the genre, but shows unusual subtley and restraint in the telling of this ultimately wrenching story.
