As the story begins, Masato and Yuji come to Takumi's rescue. Later, Masato tells Mari that he doesn't remember everything about the night of the reunion. Masato and Mari both go to see Aki to ask what happened the night of the reunion. He tells them. According to Aki, Takumi came upon the students at the reunion as they were being attacked by other Orphenochs. Takumi continues to think it was him until Mari talks to him and returns the Faiz belt.
