Endure and Survive

The storyline of Henry and Sam is the show's second most devastating storyline after Bill and Frank and it is acted and written beautifully here. The show is clearly at its best when it focuses on human tragedy and decision-making amid the virus invasion. Unlike, say, The Walking Dead, the little moments that the show gives us don't feel exploitive. This is probably the second best episode of the season.

Exemplary visualization of the source material... one exception in Kathleen, who they throw in to, I guess, show us an illogical brat; no one still alive would put up with her shit if this zombie fungus were a thing. Ellie’s doomed attempt to save a life hurts. The two graves hurt that much more.
