Made from a favorite book of mine, Trollope undeniably benefits from the condensing necessary to shoehorn the story into 3 hours of television. The spirit of the book is captured quite nicely, and the sets are beautiful, with good performances by all of the leads. Some of the modernization of the dialogue is a bit unfortunate, though.
