Extremely moronic and crude but at the very least it's aware of how moronic it is. Sunabozu is far cry from the generic, moralizing anime protagonist as he's a total perverted scumbag and the show likes to you remind you of this... way too often at times. Some episodes were painfully awful and the humor is extremely poor, but the protagonist does use some cool gadgets during fights. Otherwise, the plot is lame, characters are mostly dumb and the fight scenes are nothing special.
