Death of a Centerfold: The Dorothy Stratten Story

The movie doesn't have the guts to portray Dorothy as anything other than a girl who's just too nice. Star 80 is weirder and more fucked up, just as the story deserves. While Death's 'late 70s made for TV' aesthetics make the scuzziness more subdued (and perhaps more horrifying), it can't get past the fact that the film's central relationship doesn't work.
