Starts of confidently with an audiovisual presentation that is full of spunk and atmosphere, befitting the genre mix of cyberpunk and anime. The pace is swift, but still manages to introduce the characters and the world. Things start to get a little wobbly once the story opens up in the later half and loses some of its' charms. Would have much preferred if this kept being low-key and just about surviving in this hellscape. Appreciated the character work despite the plot progression.

A good story albeit somewhat predictable. I had a good time with it overall although I bounced off the show several times before finishing it.

It felt a bit rushed at times and I wanted to see David's journey in more detail, but otherwise this is a fun little action series set within the Cyberpunk world. Less Trigger-y than Trigger's other works, for better or for worse.

i hate you! so it portrays capitalism as bad, but in this weird puritanical way where it conflates the decline of society (the crimes of capitalists) with ppl who are addicted to porn and stuff. and then also it's just sooo misogynistic i cant stand it. kill them.

There were some places where I lost interest, but for the most part, this is an incredible piece of art. Great animation, cool story, and fantastic music

oh, the horror of having a body and living in capitalism. don't let it get too deep inside of you, or else its dreams become yours

Decent start, a bit shallow and trauma porny. The action was good until near the end when it got too extra and a bit lazy. By the end you don't really care about any of the characters.

The story is garbage, I don't care about any of the characters and nothing interesting is happening to push the plot forward. Only the first two episodes were interesting. Gets some points for visuals, though there are sometimes entire sequences with no talking and just the animators jerking themselves off. That can work if the story is strong enough and the visuals captivating enough, but neither is true.

It's alright. They use nearly every trope and cliche in the storytelling book, and as with any Trigger anime, many plot points and characters are recycled from their old shows, making it very easy to guess plot points and character arcs. The movement animation -- especially the super-speed -- breaks the laws of physics in the most visually annoying ways (e.g. falling faster than normal in super-speed). Antagonists' plan makes no sense.
