Not my favorite Columbo but there are some interesting aspects to this. Two characters trying to play Columbo against each other and at 50, Anne Baxter's still got it.

The attempts to throw him of the scent were an interesting idea but too easy for him to work out.

More cohesive and a better conclusion than the most recent episodes of this season, but not better enough to be put at a 65 for me. The pieces fit together pretty well and it was interesting to unravel the motivations of the killer.
