Colin Quinn: Red State Blue State

Nothing original or particularly insightful. A very poor man's Carlin. And where was the comedy?

I think that as this comedy special ages, it becomes even more true until a certain breaking point in Western society (I watched this 3 years after it was recorded.). I appreciate Quinn's forethought. He makes the trainwreck of watching societal collapse and massively harmful tribalism an entertaining sport. We all come down crashing and burning but might as well laugh at it because what else can we do. Cry? Quinn has some strong Carlinesquesness to his material. And Carlin is the GOAT for me!

Pleasantly surprised how good this was. Solid comedy.
