Class of '61

Standard telemovie depiction of the start of the Civil War is frustratingly simplified; making the mistake of making the outbreak of a significant conflict analogous to the tearing apart of a family. As drama, it has since been eclipsed by much more ambitious takes on the subject, but it does hold some contemporaneous interest for its impressive cast of stars-to-be. Occasional notable flickers of executive producer Spielberg's influence can be felt.
