Pretty good, but there was a lot of silence, and this could've been cut to 3 episodes if they wanted, but they couldn't be bothered.

close-ups of the chimps' faces really let you see their emotion and imagine their thoughts, very powerful.

“The way I saw it, everybody takes a beating sometime.” In general, the shots are about two seconds long, so one never really knows to what degree the story might be just a construction of the filmmakers. I even wondered whether some of the chimp hoots and hollers weren’t made by human impersonators. Still, it’s pretty interesting and quite affecting.
