Gah, I hate this show. I saw 2 seasons and the conceits are nice, but then the directors overuse that freaking camera motion without any purpose, without revealing anything significant! It drives me mad. Also, the scripts are plain bad, the characters are sheet-thin, the conflict is poor, the decisions are baffling. So the scares cannot possibly work. I was mostly scared by the first episodes of each season, when the mystery was still not mired in very bad writing.

Scored on 1½ seasons & therein lies the prob. No way would GF & I leave ½ season of an exciting prog unseen. Yet everynight when I say shall we polish off Channel Zero S2, the answer is ALWAYS no & there it sits. Don't feel that compelled myself. American Horror Story is simply FAR superior if U fancy this sort of show. CZ has moments & wouldnt call it truly bad, but is pedestrian. Lacks grip 4 sure. Don't bother 2 ?? till U've seen all the alternatives 1st. A 3* meh

Hit or miss seasons, but they really hit their stride by Season 4.

The first and third a 60/100 the second a 69/100—the last episode extremely boring—and the fourth a 70/100—the best of those first four seasons. So, 64'75 = 65.

First season interesting and second one a little more interesting. 60 + 65.
