As if "The Exorcist" weren't bad enough, Blair is back for more abuse-on-film. Fairly tame by today's standards, but controversial at its made-for-TV premiere, chiefly due to a rape scene involving a broom handle. First trip up the river for Blair.

Pretty raw for a TV movie. Shows Linda Blair (from Exorcist) as a teen runaway with troubled home life trying to survive a girls home.

As close to child pornography as network TV has ever dared to go.

There is a hopelessness I felt watching this that stems from its believability if not authenticity for troubled youths and the dominoes seem so easily in place for things to get progressively worse. I’m not sure where I stand on depictions like this being necessary but for myself I’m trying to have it be beneficial. I’m also taking a few weeks off of tv movies.
