The plot is so silly that this is only intermittently charming, despite the attractive and popular musical score. You have wild, just-barely-missed connections, at least 3 characters impersonating other people, and a starving composer living in the hugest garret I'VE ever seen. As usual for the time in Spain, the synchronization between actors and the singing soundtrack is haphazard at best. Innocent, family fun.
