Pretty decent police procedural, based on Belfast response cops, and their interactions. Still suffers from some cop series tropes, but the cast is good, and there are some fairly robust surprises, usually not too over the top with the melodrama. You could do a lot worse if looking for a UK cop show.

The Rookie, but grittier. The light, wholehearted tone of the aforementioned is substituted with the grim reality of Irish policing. A wide variety of characters, all interesting. The ending of season one was a wee bit love and good conquers all, but still fitting.

decent series which portrays ireland in its current state post independance, and how the terrorists and gangs still wreak havoc on inncoent civilians, as well as a excellent cop story
