There is no earthly reason why this shouldn't be generic dross and yet it was (to me) a pleasant surprise - mostly due to clever writing and the acting of the 2 principal leads (sub cast is good as well). There are some hard-to-take overdone arcs but all in all enjoyable with laugh out loud moments of sheer silliness. Even the introduction of a child girl actor in ep5 and on (usually signalling a giant dollop of sugary excess) is well done. Must admit to a certain sadness once this ended. Watch!
