Beast King GoLion : Episode List

In the year 1999, five young men return to Earth after a lengthy space voyage, only to find a planet left in ruins from a worldwide nuclear war. When their ship is captured by an alien craft, they learn Earth has been conquered by the evil Galra Empire, led by the ruthless Emperor Daibazaal. The young men are sent to the Slave Castle, a place where unspeakable horrors...

The five men escape from the clutches of the Galra Empire and crash-land on the planet Altea. There they find allies with a young princess and her guardian, who ask them to help them fight the Galrans using the legendary Golion robot.

The Galran Empire has launched a full-scale invasion of Altea, and the group needs to form Golion in order to stop them. But they must first retrieve the keys to the 5 lions, located beneath the castle in the crypt of the late King Raimon.

After being defeated by a Beastman with only 4 lions; Chief, Quiet, Moody, and Hothead return to the castle to find the missing key to the Black Lion. Only then can Golion be re-formed, as well as stand a chance against the Beastman.

As Emperor Daibazaal sends the Beastman "Deathhell" to Altea to destroy Golion, Fala & co. attempt to rally support for their fight from the Altean citizens, who have been in hiding since the Galrans attacked their world years ago.

Honerva the witch decides to personally kill the Golion team. After capturing Moody, Quiet challenges her to a duel of swords and sorcery. Little does he know that Honerva brought a Beastman with her.

A Beastman is sent to Altea to take advantage of Golion's absence. Fala wants to fill the late Shirogane's shoes and pilot the Blue Lion, whether the others like it or not.

Fala undergoes some rough combat training with Moody, a mysterious white-haired man arrives when she is injured during sparring. He is convinced to stay on Altea and become a possible replacement for Fala as the Blue Lion's pilot.

Hothead finds an unconscious young woman lying on a hill near a wrecked ship. When she awakens at Castle Gradam, she reveals her name is Lisa, and that she is an escaped Earth slave from the Galran Empire. However it is soon discovered that she is in fact a Galra operative when she attempts to blow up the castle, and that Daibazaal has (falsely) promised to free the o...

Fala sees her mother in a dream one night. When she awakes, she sees a white lion calling to her in her mother's voice. She follows the lion away from the castle, believing it to be her mother, but is in fact one of Honerva's deadly ploys.

Unnatural calamities of Biblical proportions have been occurring on Altea. It begins with a torrential rainstorm of human blood. Next, a lightning strike ignites the raining blood, spawning flaming rivers and raging infernos, threatening the residents of a nearby village. Queen Elena, Fala's aunt and only living relative, is ambushed on-route to Castle Gradam by Honerva. The witch assumes Elena's identity, and lies along a road, pretending to be unconscious where Fala and the rest of the Golion team find her. Commander Sadak faces execution for his repeated failure to destroy Golion. Before Daizabaal can kill him, his son Crown Prince Sincline arrives home after having conquered the Great Goering Nebula. He offers a plan that will satisfy his father, clear Sadak's dishonor, and eliminate Golion once and for all.

Sincline has taken a liking to Fala, and will stop at nothing to have her. Meanwhile Fala has been secretly training in the Black Lion, but the secret is out when Sincline attacks, and the rest of the Golion team notice the Black Lion is missing.

Hothead wins the chance to join Fala in a special ceremony dedicating the opening of "The Bridge of Love". Sincline uses the event an an opportunity to disrupt the ceremony and try to take Fala.

The King of the planet Heracles, a longtime rival of Altea, asks Daibazaal to let him assist the Galran Empire in fighting Altra and Golion with his son Samson. Hoverva deploys hundreds of deadly laser-shooting Galra Rats to infiltrate Castle Gradam and wreak havoc with the castle's computer systems. The Deathblack Beastman Catgun has also been sent to attack the castle from the outside and to fight Golion. Platt the mouse and his family help the Golion team locate and stop the rats.

Daibazaal is en route to planet Mura aboard his Galactic Train. On Mura, Sincline has enslaved the population and forced them to build a giant cannon capable of obliterating Golion in one blast. Golion follows the train to Mura, whose people are allies of Altea. Kogane hopes to enlist the aid of a Muran named Hallem, but it seems he's allied with Sincline instead.

Honerva devises a way to render a Beastman invisible and attack Altea without being detected by neither Castle Gradam's nor Golion's technology.

Sincline travels to the planet Meduse to acquire large creatures called Gorgons to be converted into Beastmen, for they possess a natural ability to turn their attackers into stone. The ghost of King Raimon appears before the Golion team, telling them that Golion is in fact invincible, and they have yet to achieve Golion's full potential. Heeding the King's words, Kogane pushes his team much harder than ever before, regardless of what the team may think, he knows that all of Altea depends their strength.

Sincline secretly deposits scores of tadpoles of deadly Galran frogs into Altea's waters. Shorty and some kids collect some of tadpoles out of curiosity, unaware of the danger they pose until it is too late. The tadpoles quickly grow into adults and begin attacking any living thing they see.

Sincline is drilling beneath the surface of Altea so he can plant a 10-megaton bomb underneath Castle Gradam, and obliterate both the castle and Golion in one swift stroke. Shorty and a local boy discover Sincline's plot and try to stop it.

The Golion team is building a soccer field for the children, and Seidô is using a large construction vehicle that's specially designed for the task. Later that night, Sincline and Honerva send a Mecha Beastman to infiltrate and take control of the machine. The machine promptly runs amok, damages the soccer field, and traps three children inside the vehicle. The Golion...

Fed up with his son's failures, Daibazaal tells Sincline his must go and lead his forces into battle, and fight Golion himself. Sincline turns to Honerva for help, who creates a clone for him, a clone that is physically more powerful than him.

Daibazaal chooses a reckless yet highly skilled fighter pilot named Reggar to pilot the latest Mecha Beastman. Reggar is deployed to Altea to go up against Golion and their deadly Four-Lion Attack.

Sincline sends a team of professional assassins to Altea, where they proceed to ruthlessly slaughter innocent Alteans with blinding speed. As Golion returns to Altea, Blue Lion malfunctions and crashes, and is rescued by a mysterious young man with a cape. Raible, Hys and the other Golion members arrive on the scene and notice his agility when he dodges an explosion from the Blue Lion. At the castle, he identifies himself as Saint, and reveals that he is a survivor from the Galra attack on Altea 15 years...

The treacherous Saint has taken over the control room in Castle Gradam, and has taken Raible and Hys hostage. Outside, Sincline is using a Mecha Beastman and the Giant Interstellar Cannon against Golion.

Daibazaal has ordered the arrest and for his son for the grave error of allowing the Giant Interstellar Cannon to fall into enemy hands. Sincline is sentenced to death and is held at the Demon Castle to await execution. Daibazaal assumes command of his forces and leads them to Altea.
