Aziz Ansari: Live At Madison Square Garden

Fair to decent set from Ansari picks up steam as it goes along after a wobbly start – manages a pretty decent balance of genuine insight with the inevitable appeal to the SJW mind-set, but carries it off thanks to a subversive wink to the audience which stops things from getting too serious.

A lot of laughs, but some of his material gets kind of dark... almost too serious. He's not exactly my favorite comedian, but he seems like a genuinely great person, and this is entertaining the whole way through.

Aziz works great in small doses in Parks & Rec, a solid hour is annoying.

I have enjoyed watching Aziz's growth as a stand-up. All along, there was something special there, that was sometimes marred by his sometimes mediocre material. But, he's really pulled it all together. Aziz has finally found his 'voice' (he found it in his last special, imo), and he shines at MSG.
