I know I saw this, I just don't remember how it went exactly. Something like "I can't get erections because my thigh fat blocks blood flow to my genital region." *takes huge bite from block of Wisconsin super sharp cheddar*

There is no one else I could watch speak at a podium for 4 hours, but 4 hours just isn't enough, I want MORE MORE MORE KEVIN.

Smith speaking candidly, is funnier than 90 percent of his movies.

A great Q&A from a director who doubles as an excellent storyteller. The first and best of Kevin Smith's trilogy of "Evenings".

There are so many great hilarious stories on these DVDs, something that pretty much anyone can enjoy. The stories will also stick with you for a while, notably how insane Prince is.

Enjoyable compilation of Smith’s one man tour is hampered by extreme overlength, and a subsequent lack of focus and momentum, which would have helped this play better in the canned environment – there is far too much material included which would come to life in the “live” setting that just doesn’t play well pre-recorded. Highlighted by Smith’s warm and witty tales of movie production, especially the very entertaining story involving Jon Peters.

Kevin Smith is a way better stand up comedian than he is a director, and his anecdotes are comedy gold. But arguably I'll remember this for the audience. It seems that nothing brings out the worst in humanity like an American college, although to be fair, you could argue that this audience is what Smith's movies deserve.

Ooooo! Who makes your hockey shirts, Kevin? How did you get to be so fat, Kevin? Why do you keep making shit movies, Kevin? I really want to know!

Kevin Smith is a pretty great storyteller, with or without a camera, and he offers some very funny, very revealing anecdotes and the like, presumably off the top of his head. The stories get longer and longer into this flick, and the one about trying to make a Superman movie has me worried about Hollywood execs (not that I wasn't before).

I mean, I love listening to the man talk so, y'know, how can I really score it much less than this?

A great chance to get to know one of the better comedy directors of our generation. He loves to interact and open up and this whole series is worth checking out if you're a fan of his work.

This features a Kevin Smith before he became an extremely fat pothead (too fat to fly) that engages in hour-long flame wars with other dorks on twitter and thinks the world is out to get him. He used to tell a great story. Now all he talks about is licking his wife's ass and fears that he won't live to see his 50th birthday.

Really funny, but not that interesting or insightful, and who really gives a shit about Kevin Smith anymore? His fans, obviously, but they only get in the way. How much attention should we pay a director that doesn't even know what lens is used for which shot?

This would have been great if it had been edited down to contain only the longer, more scripted responses, which were full of hilarious anecdotes. Smith's off the cuff interactions with the audience come off as awkward.

I don't think there's much of a point in watching this unless you're a huge Kevin Smith fan. If that's the case, my rating probably won't matter much to you anyways.

Kevin Smith is kind of a dumb piece of shit nowadays, but this is a very interesting watch, and proves that he's an excellent public speaker. I've watched the entire thing at least three times and never once been bored.

Even if you're not into Kevin Smith, this collection of Q&As is extremely fascinating--Smith is a man you could listen to speak on just about any subject. He knows how to deliver a story. Highly recommended.

Smith keeps on topic, answers aren't too long, so it's pretty decent, especially the industry stories. It feels like he is giving out secret inside intel about the projects he works on and famous people he met.

I love this guy. His movies are (generally) good, although I can only the two Clerks and Dogma with any consistency. But him, as a person, is hilarious.

If you love Kevin Smith, watch this show. If you hate Kevin Smith, still watch it because it's funny as shit with unbelievable stories on celebrities such as Prince and Tim Burton. My favorite is his true story of going to protest his own film. Oh God that was great.

9- excellent, awesome :: I've heard that you either like Kevin Smith movies or you don't. I doubt the same is true of the man himself. He's an excellent storyteller and I can't imagine anyone not liking this documentary.

If you like Kevin Smith's humor at all, you'll enjoy this. Although if you've ever listened to an interview with him at some point, you've probably heard some of these stories before. He seems to do that a lot (tell the same story OVER and OVER).
