Akame ga Kill!

20% badass action/horror and 80% awkward harem comedy.

At times an entertaining shonen series with some thrilling fights and interesting characters. The problem is it just kind of ends - sure the plot is wrapped up, but the emotions that have been building for episodes peter out without closure and the resolution becomes perfunctory. Probably needed a few more passes in the writing stage.
