A Muppet Family Christmas

This would be a lot of fun for fans of the Muppets, unfortunately, I'm not one.

It's super messy but quite cute. The next-to-last singing sequence was insufferably long.

As strangely paced as it is, trying to pack way too much into way too short a runtime, it's still a super fun Muppets gathering that provides the perfect dose of holiday cheer & is perfect for a Christmas Day viewing. It's far from perfect & it's not the best Muppets movie by a mile, but the personal bias I have for it thanks to growing up with it means I can't really critique it too hard. Nearly every Muppet comes together here, from Sesame Street to Fraggle Rock, & it's pretty fun to see.

As far as Christmas Special go. Muppet Family Christmas is by far the greatest. It's loose structure, cameos, easy going lack of story, and incredible sense of humor work wonders.

Really fun Christmas special. This is the kind of thing I could see myself watching every holiday season.

Awesome in every way. More consistently funny than most of the other Muppet stuff, too.

Favorite Christmas special bar-none. Points off only for the short, painful scene where Christopher Robin sings Jungle Bells. *shudder*

Pretty much my favourite Christmas special ever other than How The Grinch Stole Christmas. The holiday doesn't begin until I get to watch this. It's an absolute travesty that the DVD version of this has been butchered so much.
