A Garfield Christmas Special

It assuredly has some charm and warmth, especially with Garfield's interactions with Grandma in this. I consider this valuable Christmas fare. Do watch.

Surprisingly good for a children movie. The first part of the story is rather silly, but it gets better during the second half. It's funny how 20 year old guys are still children inside. Personally, I think the granny is the best character here. This short movie has probably the whole different meaning to adults and to children. I never watched it as a kid. Watching it now, I think it brings back memories from my own childhood and deeply touches one's soul (i.e. case of letters). Very nostalgic.

Mostly tongue in cheek humor, but despite not being particularly funny there's a sense of warmth and sentimentality that makes this decently enjoyable even if perhaps a bit saccharine.
