Solid sitcom series that held itself together even after losing John Ritter due to his tragic passing. It played on many of the old troupes and make you feel for the characters. Solid enough writing. Solid enough actors in roles that they seemed primed for and it worked. David Spade and James Garner were good additions to help transition the show in a new direction after Ritter's passing.
