6 Days to Air: The Making of South Park

It is an interesting subject, and the way Stone and Parker make the show is quite fascinating. This documentary, however, isn't quite as fleshed out as I'd have liked it to be.

Thoroughly entertaining and interesting. If you love the show, you will love this.

Excellent behind the scenes with Matt and Trey

Very informative. Incredibly interesting to see a group of guys you had pegged in your mind as a bunch of slackers working so hard on a program that they truly believe in and are so passionate about. I only wish it were longer.

It's interesting to see the creative process behind Parker and Stone's writing room sessions. It's amazing how much of a last minute affair it is to produce a single South Park episode. They have a lot of freedom when it comes to just coming up with an idea and running with it to animation.

A pretty cool look into the making/writing of my all-time favorite show. Just wish there was a longer running time with more material covered. It simply felt like a sneak peak, but nonetheless it was the first time Trey has ever let cameras into the writer's room and that I cannot fault.

A scant but worthwhile look into a team's creative process.

Enjoyable and entertaining glimpse behind the scenes with Parker and Stone - no blazing insights here, and definitely designed as a somewhat hagiographic portrait, it is still interesting to see the frighteningly tight deadlines in effect (evidenced by the show's always topical nature). Well and truly worth viewing for any fans of the show.

documentaries like these are always to be taken with a grain of salt, as they are likely to disenchant just that little bit too much of something you worship unconditionally. however, there's creations like south park, that will always be divine to me, and looking behind the scenes had no negative effect on that. trey and matt come across very likeable and down to earth, sometimes almost humble and unsure, which makes them even more deserving of success and their hard work palpable.

Both laughably entertaining thanks to Matt and Trey's personalities, and pretty damn impressive.

An amazing look behind the production of your average 'South Park' episode! I am disappointed that my theory of each episode being based on what was drawn from a 'characters' bowl and a 'perverted sexual acts' bowl, but genuinely surprised to find that it takes them a whole six days to come up with that sort of juvenile crap. But hat's off for them doing the Oscars in dresses - on acid.

It's interesting enough if you're a South Park fan (which I certainly am). If not, don't bother.

Had a weird run time, but was pretty cool nonetheless. They picked a pretty good episode to follow.
