78 - An interesting film with a unique PoV. Although enjoyable, it takes a patient viewer to enjoy, which is probably not the average slasher fan. That said, for the carnage enjoyers, the kills are well done,(barring the first cut to black, it is luckily the only one like that) creative, and have a balance between almost comically over the top and yet done with a brutal weight that feels grounded. The ending PTSD was out of left field and really caught me off guard in a good way. Solid film.

It's almost impressive how a series that began with such promise and rose to acclaim with Pearl could nosedive so spectacularly.
