Bio: Welcome to my profile! I consider myself a film enthusiast and I try to get out to the theatre when I have the time. I'm hoping my reviews on Criticker further ignite my passion for the film medium.
I have reviewed a large number of movies on Flixster in recent years but I have decided to make the jump to Criticker. My reviews from Flixster will not be transferred over as I believe that your opinion of a movie can change over time. I have decided that every movie I review on Criticker must be watched at most a month prior to the review. For example, I'm not going to try and remember details and score a movie that I have not watched in 5 years.
Usually I review on a 5 star scale only rating from 1-5. Since Criticker goes on a 100 point scale I have decided to break up my reviews into a 1-10 scale as in 1 being 10 and 10 being 100.
My rating criteria:
10- 0.5 star (Avoid at all costs!)
20- 1 star
30- 1.5 stars
40- 2 stars (20-40 = Beware!)
50- 2.5 stars (Mediocre at best)
60- 3 stars
70- 3.5 stars (60-70 = Worth a rental)
80- 4 stars
90- 4.5 stars (80-90 = Must see)
100- 5 stars (Cinematic viagra)

Joe Dirt 2: Beautiful Loser (2015) - Rated 09 Aug 2015
"Joe Dirt 2 is one of the most horrendous sequels I have ever encountered. It's extremely boring and far from funny. The plot is absolutely absurd and the jokes are at an adolescent level. The first Joe Dirt was actually enjoyable to an extent but this sequel isn't even at the level of being a sequel. You now know why this never made it to theatres. Bury it in the DIRT! As of this writing, Joe Dirt 2 is the worst movie I have seen in 2015. Barely snags 1 STAR"

Mad Max: Fury Road (2015) - Rated 18 May 2015
"George Miller blows the original trilogy out of the water with Fury Road. I can't find anything I disliked about this movie. The action never lets up and the setting has the perfect feel. You've got your ridiculously over the top villains. The plot was simple and the leads did a fantastic job. That soundtrack was so good! I got everything I wanted out of this movie. Simply put, Mad Max: Fury Road is cinematic viagra. Go see it immediately! 5 STARS!"

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016) - Rated 21 May 2017
"Rogue One absolutely demolished my expectations and is arguably one of the strongest installments in the entire series. In terms of prequels it's superb and its story is very important to bridging a gap in the franchise. It manages to soar by creating new characters while not relying on franchise veterans. The finale is excellent and delivers so much for fan service. It's a bit familiar at times while also feeling quite different. It's definitely a winner. Fans rejoice! 4.5 STARS"

Whiplash (2014) - Rated 24 Jul 2015
"Holy hell! This movie deserves every accolade it achieves. Simmons and Teller put on a Tour de Force in a film about adversity and determination. There's constant twists and turns and the tension between the leads is electrifying. The music definitely conveys the atmosphere and works as a metaphor to describe the relationship between Teller and Simmons' characters. Whiplash is a very strong dose of cinematic viagra. 5 STARS!"
