"...ok... what am I missing here? It's got good establishing shots. They had some very bright paint used in set design. That's about it... the 'mystery' is just things happening with no reason to have happened. Effect without cause. Jack Nicholson acts weird and I can't figure out if he's trying to be goofy or durpy but it just comes across as very annoying, very Jim Carrey. He doesn't go mad, he just changes character in the middle of one conversation. It meanders aimlessly and the pacing drags."

"Expendfourbles quadruptles down on the action. You know what you're getting into. Watching Megan Fox chew lines as she blankly stares off screen distracts you just long enough to squeeze in the necessary exposition between explosions. There is a storyline here, I'll give them credit where it's due."

"Fantastic visuals, with the repetition and over-use of the same frames common of the era. I respect their lack of exposition and respect of the audience to understand the inferences. Makes for a more engaging watch through to assume and have some answers (is his horse mechanical? Magical? Just a horse? unknown. There is an overly rushed pace however, and they fail to flesh out the story sufficiently in the time taken."
