"Nintendo put the serve in fan service with this one and I loved every minute of it. I can’t tell if Nintendo nostalgia would be a prerequisite for enjoying this movie but for me, a lifelong Nintendo fanatic, it was incredibly fun and I’ve already rewatched more than a few times."

"Yes beautiful amazing yes. If you liked RENT you’ll love this. If you haven’t seen RENT, go watch RENT first because I think it make this movie even more touching. Even if you can’t get into the story, which I loved, the vocals alone make this worth a watch."

"This may be controversial but I don’t review movies based on quality of the movie. I prefer to rate on how much I enjoy it. This movie is definitely not a think piece, it’s not thoughtful or nuanced, and just has 2008 written all over it. Flashy and gimmicky would not be inaccurate. But boy is this movie fun. Couple that with the nostalgia of being the dancing queen of my living room at 8 years old and this became one of my most rewatched movie. Doesn’t take itself too seriously and a good time"

"started as something meant for kids, but it grew along with the audience and became more complex . With episodes for any mood, silly goofy, adventurous, thoughtful, emotional, and some with all of that together. Not every episode is a hit but that’s to be expected with an 8 year run. All in all this show holds a special place in my heart. I want to add that if you didn’t grow up watching this show, it is very goofy and inane for the first few seasons and is better suited for a background show."
