"Didn't even check who the director was, so started to watch it as a "genuine" movie. Of course, I hated it. A great idea for a satire but not my type. A Hollywood movie satire doesn't have to be a Hollywood movie itself."

"The characters are interesting, the story and the theme is good. Charlie tries to deal with the desire of money/power, his girlfriend and his friend throughout the movie and although it seems like the movie is very slow-paced, some development happens nearly in every scene. The issue is, we don’t understand what to wait from the movie (what is the real issue here?) up until the last quarter of the movie and get bored. Still, with the ending, everything is clear and the movie is elevated."
47 22% Stromboli (1950) - Rated 23 Oct 2024
"The idea is interesting but the movie is boring and overlong. With this theme, the movie could have been much better. Additionally, the ambiguity in the ending is not “cool”, instead, it leaves the viewer with no idea about the message of the movie."
57 29% Love in the Afternoon (1957) - Rated 14 Oct 2024
"If the ending was different, this movie would be better. I didn't root for the romance between Flannagan and Ariane and I think nobody would root for it. The man is a womanizer who doesn't have anything to do with commitment and the woman is a "naive" girl. This type of romance doesn't work in a movie. Other than that, there were some moments with great comedy."

60 33% Hook (1991) - Rated 14 Oct 2024
"The first half is very boring. We understand that Peter Pan is out of shape and is a corporate lawyer now, no need to watch it for more than 1 hour. The second half is a lot better and more like a movie for children. However, it is still stuck between being a children movie and a grownup movie. I must note that children movies can be very enjoyable for grownups and I do enjoy a lot of them but this in-between types... meh."
