61 49% | A Star Is Born (2018) - Rated 14 Aug 2024
"It was a pretty good movie until it ended. I fucking hate bad endings. Why does Hollywood has this fetish about making movies with bad endings? If the last 10 minutes would have been different I could rate this higher. Honestly, I had a good time with it, but it's hard to recommend it. In the end you will be sad. If for some reason you think you need an experience like this, go and watch it."

43 19% | 3 Body Problem (2024) - Rated 15 May 2024
"Seems like a really messy show. I quit after a single episode. I honestly don't understand why it might be trending. Too many storylines, some of them don't seem to be connected at all. Maybe later it comes together, but boy, if you can't make me interested by the end of the first hour, don't expect me to stick along. I don't recommend this to anyone."

50 27% | Conan the Destroyer (1984) - Rated 09 Aug 2023
"The story is way better than the first one. We see far more from Conan's character, something the first movie lacked a lot, and finally even some of the side kicks got interesting. This is good enough that I can recommend it to fantasy fans, I would still say to Schwarzenegger fans to choose something better, but the fantasy part works decently, and hell, if you managed to suffer through the first one, definitely watch this."

46 22% | Conan the Barbarian (1982) - Rated 09 Aug 2023
"There isn't much of a story which is a shame, because Conan seems like an interesting character on the surface. I really liked the first half hour when he was introduced. The movie got worse from that point unfortunately, but the villain and the final fight scene were still able to keep me entertained a bit. You could probably pick something better whether you are a fantasy or Schwarzenegger fan, so I can't really recommend it, but if you are curious, you won't have a very bad time."

65 58% | Enola Holmes 2 (2022) - Rated 21 Jul 2023
"Better than the first one. The original had interesting characters, but I honestly can't remember the story. This one is similar, but there is much more focus on the interesting characters. A solid choice if you are interested in either Sherlock or any of the actors here. Personally, I feel the concept would make an excellent episodic TV series and it's a bit too shallow with only two movies. There is much more to explore here, but sadly it's quite likely this is the last we get of Enola Holmes."

59 42% | Thor: Love and Thunder (2022) - Rated 19 Jul 2023
"This wasn't bad which starts to become surprising from Marvel, still the first half of the movie was pretty boring for me, but once Natalie Portman started to have a bigger role, she has saved it and kept me entertained until the end. Safe choice if you are a fan of Marvel or either of the two lead actors."

30 7% | Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022) - Rated 29 Jun 2023
"Bunch of black women walking around and saying meaningless tech words. Low effort even for a Marvel movie. Don't watch it unless you have to for some reason."

40 15% | Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (2023) - Rated 23 Jun 2023
"This movie is hugely unimaginative. You portray a world that's so tiny that even the best microscopes in the planet don't see it and what do you do with it? You make it a general sci-fi world. The quantum world should be chaotic. Quantum physics don't make sense. Just grab a joint and let your mind go free when you create this world. Forget everything you knew. Don't make it standard. Overall, pretty weak even for a Marvel movie. Watch it only if you must."

64 56% | Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves (2023) - Rated 03 Apr 2023
"Completely predictable story, and a cast of characters & dialogue which remind me just too much of Marvel movies, and good Lord, I want Forgotten Realms to be way different than Marvel. Nothing too spectacular, but overall there wasn't anything so bad either that I would have to warn you not to watch it. You'll be entertained for two hours. Given that to this day this is the only movie set in the Forgotten Realms, I will even re-watch it at some point. Just honestly, the bar should be higher."

32 9% | Lucy (2014) - Rated 05 Nov 2022
"When I read a science fiction from the 1930s and it's very silly, I am forgiving. I know that people at that time didn't know better. When I see a sci-fi written today that's really silly, I am not sure what to think. People cannot be so silly, so did they wirte the silly parts for entertainment only? If they did, unfortunately it didn't work with me well. Scarlett Johansson is the best part of the movie who plays excellently, but unless you are a fan of her, I can't really recommend this."
