100 99% | Score: A Film Music Documentary (2016) - Rated 06 Aug 2017
"As a lifetime film music fan of collecting soundtracks and enjoying them in and after the theatre experience. I highly recommend this magnificent art of a documentary. On how music has been created for film and how it has changed over time. The film features interviews with many of the great composers and an insight into the music making process to create film scores. Everything here is right up my alley and I thoroughly enjoyed it. *HIGHLY RECOMMENDED* to any who appreciate a good film score!!!"

69 51% | Alien: Covenant (2017) - Rated 20 May 2017
"Some of the reviews I read talk about making the scientists smarter. What would you do if you were faced with the unimaginable terror of a foe that cant be defeated? Some of the crew lost loved ones. Imagine the thought of taking the chance of going into space to colonize a planet and you lose your partner. You wouldn't be thinking clearly, and just because your a scientist doesn't mean your trained as a soldier."

25 2% | Star Trek Beyond (2016) - Rated 06 May 2017
"Beyond stupidity - worst trek movie ever ...... Let me just start by saying that I loved the first Star Trek and thought the 2nd was pretty good. This though? This was horrible and I can't believe it is getting great reviews. There were times where my eyes got stuck in the back of my head because I rolled them so hard. It's even worse than the original ST5 The Final Frontier. This is garbage all around, crew just seemed uninspired by the horrible script and way too much lousy action sequences"

61 32% | The Lobster (2015) - Rated 04 Apr 2017
"Easily the weirdest film you'll see in a long time! Calling it a comedy is maybe pushing it a bit too far. There are funny moments for sure, but there are some horrific moments in this piece, and some of the characters traits are seriously sinister. It's an oddity for sure, some will hate its narrative structure, and although I thought it was a wonderfully written, acted, and highly original piece of cinema, it left me feeling really depressed after. Worth a watch"

55 21% | Life (2017) - Rated 04 Apr 2017
"In summary, the film is watch-able but there is a very predictable twist at the end and the film is ultimately forgettable in favour of better examples."
