"Well, the storyline is rushed, and that, other than Lees acting, is about the worst thing about this movie. For children, this is a great movie. Before people go off on how it dumb or weird, they need to realize that it was made for kids. They aren't going to judge a movie based on the acting or graphics. Its fine to comment on Lees steadily falling acting career, but its not something to base your score on. It should be based on novelty, which this movie seemed to have a lot of."

"I'm not 100% that people are writing reviews that they truly mean on Criticker, because I've seen nothing but bad reviews for great movies, and great reviews for terrible movies. One that I happen to think they have it wrong on, is Dan in Real Life. Apparently, people are so confused that a funny guy is making a serious movie, that they feel the need to insult everything wrong with the movie, even if there is no such thing. This was an accurate portrayal of Real Life, even you don't agree."

"The only reason this movie has gotten so many bad reviews is because it doesn't actually follow the Comic Book storyline. Just to let all of you know, just because you're nerds and you're offended that Sam Raimi didn't follow everything EXACTLY as how it should be, doesn't mean the movie is bad. The action scenes, emotion, and special effects were phenomenal. Get over it."
