"A postmodernist masterpiece, full of self-awareness, irony, and introspection. An homage to horror. Tamara was a stand-out character, and the foreshadowing with the rats was inspired. That one scene where the bad guy is hiding behind the main character (you'll know the one!) immediately set the tone, so imagine my shock when the movie really got going 85 min in. The script is full of subtle commentary on rural/urban divide, and asks so many questions. Who are the strangers? Are we the strangers?"
