"I’m a fan of Jon Batiste, and so expected this to be a lot better. Really this is a story about how life doesn’t care if you’re a famous or successful person, it still marches on; as is shown with his wife’s cancer in the midst of his Grammy success. However, that story could’ve been told so much better, more dramatically, and more emotionally. We barely got to even hear his music. Sadly, so much of this film could’ve been done better."
