"The worst version of girlpower that could have come out. I did like the representation of depression in the form of intrusive thoughts directly affecting barbie and the theme of death. However, it lacked any substance. The setting was fun to watch - the doll town in particular."

"The story was so promising, yet it didn't quite deliver. There were a lot of fast dizzying scenes, some completely unnecessary to the main story, the timing was jumbled between the scenes unnecessarily, without any particular meaning or intent, and overall the message lacked depth. The only nice thing about it is the acting of the main character, or just the face? Not much different from Peaky Blinders."
