"I hate to be one of those pretentious assholes saying the book is better than the movie… But I am gonna go ahead and say it. I don’t understand some of the choices made here, why switch characters and what happens to them? Even the ending? The source material is a slow burn but effectively creepy, bleak, full of tension. The movie lacks any of it. Big disappointment."
