"I’m not saying it isn’t worth a watch, I clearly enjoyed it, but let’s be honest- this is Black Swan meets Saw as directed by John Hughes. It feels almost like a Netflix movie in that a lot of money was clearly thrown at it, but they spent it all on a beautiful, if shallow, kiddie pool. Also, I walked away with a similar thought to his other films, why didn’t Argento know what blood looks like? Also there’s a child. And a dog. So."
